Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Don’t see your question here? Give us a call or message us on Facebook!

“Do you have any booths available?”

It’s no secret that we have an ever-growing waitlist. Do not be discouraged by this, as we do have turnover. Join the waitlist simply by filling out a vendor application in store, as our booths don’t stay empty for long! Time on the waitlist is determined by turnover and the items you are selling. We don’t mean to be choosy, this maintains variety and prevents in-house competition.

“Do you have this particular item?”

It never hurts to call and ask if we have a particular item in stock, but don’t be surprised if our staff can’t answer your question. Each of our 150+ vendors are responsible for their own inventory, and the store does not have a searchable system to determine whether we have the item you’re looking for or not.

“I saw an item on Facebook that I want to buy. Is it still available?”

Most of the posts we promote on Facebook are through our Needful Things Market Vendor Group. These posts are created by vendors and approved by Needful Things Market staff. As a result, dozens of posts promoting Needful Things Market could be listed every day. If you see a particular item that you’re interested in, we recommend you message the vendor who posted the image directly. They will be able to determine whether the item is still available more quickly than our staff will.

“How much does it cost to rent a booth?”

Our booths are all different sizes and range anywhere from a single 2’ locked shelf to an 8’x10’ booth. Our prices are based on the size. Please refer to our Booth Rental page for more details.

“Do you buy stuff/offer consignment?”

No we do not. We used to do furniture consignment, but we stopped in September 2023. We understand some disappointment from those who enjoyed the furniture room or wanted to consign their items, but we had to meet high demand of booth spaces and saw a decrease in furniture sales.

“I’m looking for a book. Do you have it?”

As of 2019, we are no longer a bookstore. Many of our vendors have books for sale in their booths, but we don’t have an inventory of what our vendors have in stock. If you’re looking for something specific, you’ll have to come in and browse!

“What are your hours/how late are you open?”

We’re open 7 days a week! Our hours Monday - Saturday are 10AM - 7PM, and our Sunday hours are 12PM - 5PM. We will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

“I can’t seem to find you - where are you located?”

We’re located just to the right of the Owasso 12 movie theater. If you’re coming off 86th street, you can pull into any of the driveways from Mazzio’s to SAHO, take a right, and keep driving until you find us! If you’re coming off 129th, take the driveway just past the Owasso High School West Campus and we’ll be on your right!

“Are you a UPS location?”

We are no longer a UPS location. We were at one time but have not served as one since 2019. Unfortunately, UPS still lists us as an available UPS Drop-Off Point. There is a UPS store across the street from our location that can help you with any UPS-related needs.

“I wish you were still a bookstore.”

That’s not a question, but we’ll respond anyway: we made the very tough decision to eliminate the bookstore portion of Needful Things Market in 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic began, in order for the store to remain profitable. We did not have enough interest in our books to justify keeping them, and our decision to transition our store into a full vendor mall is the reason our doors are open today! Many of our vendors still have books - browse for a while and see what you can find!

“Does Stephen King own this place/work here/hang out in the back room?”

No, Stephen King has not graced the aisles of Needful Things Market in Owasso, Oklahoma. The similarities between our store name and the Stephen King novel were unintentional. Needful Things Market actually got its name from a contest prior to opening, where we asked the greater Owasso community to submit and vote on names for the store you know and love today. Believe us, if Stephen King walked through the door of Needful Things Market, we would let everyone know!
